Blues For Mr Grey
Pasteurised the Milk of Human Kindness as a title came to me when i was boated. no surprise there, then, i was going to call it One Careless Owner, then the better title came, and that title was relegated to song title (said song was previously called Normal Service Resumes - yes, it was good i changed it). Blues For Mr Grey was originally on Urban Blues (for obvious reasons) - Spare Burden was going to be but I never liked my vox on it, so it got put back until i got a take that didn't make me cringe. Stranded was put back to Unferocious because I thought Pasteurised would be too slow with it on. the rest of the listing was on the original version, but in radically different order.
I think of it as my madness album, despite the fact that i was no more or less mad than is usually the case (i was even more stressed than Trilby at work, and not long after the first take of this album was done, i quit the plumbing warehouse and became a student again. mid life crisis at 32. only, it wasn't a crisis, it was a resolution) (madness doesn't exist, diagnosis and judgement do)(these album notes, and all the others, are inane ego-driven waffle. i may get rid. who gives a fuck about where they came from? they just are).
